Where is Kayochem based and do you deliver nationally
Kayochem is based in Germiston, Gauteng. Our primary delivery regions are Gauteng and Standerton, however we deliver throughout South Africa. We also supply clients across borders, with current clients in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Nigeria, and Eswatini. Clients are welcome to arrange their own transporter to collect from our premises, or we can arrange delivery to your location. Please contact us directly to discuss delivery options and pricing.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver throughout South Africa, with our primary regions being Gauteng and Standerton. We also supply clients across borders, with current clients in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Nigeria, and Eswatini. For deliveries outside our primary regions, we can arrange a transporter on your behalf, or you are welcome to send your own transporter to collect from our Germiston premises. Please contact us directly to discuss delivery options and pricing.
Do you supply clients outside of South Africa?
Yes — Kayochem supplies clients across borders throughout the region. We currently supply clients in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Nigeria, and Eswatini. Whether you arrange your own freight forwarding or require assistance coordinating delivery, please contact us directly to discuss your cross-border requirements and we will do our best to assist.
Can I arrange my own collection?
Yes — you are welcome to arrange your own transporter to collect from our premises in Germiston, Gauteng. Please contact us in advance to arrange a suitable collection time during trading hours.
What are your trading hours?
Our trading hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday 08:00–14:00, and Saturday 08:00–12:00. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays.
Do you accept walk-in customers?
Yes — we welcome trade customers to our premises in Germiston during trading hours. Monday to Thursday 08:00–16:30 and Friday 08:00–14:00. We are closed on weekends and public holidays. We recommend calling ahead to confirm product availability before visiting.
Do you have loading and offloading facilities on site?
Yes — Kayochem has a forklift on site to assist with the loading and offloading of deliveries. This ensures efficient handling of bulk and heavy orders at our Germiston premises.
Do your drivers hold Hazchem training?
Yes — all of our drivers hold Hazchem training, ensuring that hazardous chemicals and raw materials are transported safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.
What industries do you supply?
We supply chemicals and raw materials to the food and beverage, industrial, agricultural, poultry, and veterinary industries across South Africa. If you are unsure whether we supply your industry, get in touch and we’ll be happy to assist.
Can you source products that are not listed on your website?
Yes — our listed range does not cover everything we are able to supply. If you need a specific chemical or raw material that isn’t shown on our product pages, get in touch with your requirements and we will do our best to source it for you at a competitive price.
Do you have minimum order quantities?
Yes — certain products, particularly those available on request, are subject to minimum order quantities (MOQ). MOQs vary by product. Please contact us for specific quantities and we’ll advise accordingly.
What is the lead time for products available on request?
Lead times for on-request products vary depending on the product and supplier availability. Once we receive your enquiry we will confirm the expected lead time as quickly as possible. We recommend contacting us in advance if you have a specific deadline.
How do I place an order?

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept card payments and EFT. Please note that we no longer accept cash payments. Card payment facilities are available at our premises.
How are drum deposits handled?
A drum deposit is charged on certain products supplied in drums. The deposit is refundable upon return of the empty drum in good condition. Please confirm deposit amounts when placing your order as these vary by product.
Do you offer repacking or custom package sizes?
We do not offer repacking or custom package sizes at this time. Our products are supplied in their standard manufacturer pack sizes as listed on our product pages.
Do you manufacture any of your own products?
No — Kayochem is a distributor of quality chemicals and raw materials. We do not manufacture any products ourselves. All products are sourced from trusted manufacturers and suppliers, both locally and globally, and supplied to our customers at competitive prices.
Are your products suitable for food manufacturing?
Our food-grade products meet strict quality standards and are suitable for use in food and beverage manufacturing. Relevant products are supplied with Certificates of Analysis and where applicable, Kosher or Halaal certification. Please confirm your specific requirements when enquiring.
What is a Certificate of Analysis and do your products come with one?
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a document from the manufacturer confirming that a product meets its specified quality standards. Most of our products are supplied with a COA. Where applicable, food-grade products may also carry Kosher or Halaal certification. Please enquire when placing your order.
Do you supply Safety Data Sheets for your products?
Yes — Safety Data Sheets are available for our products. These documents contain important information on safe handling, storage, hazards, and first aid measures in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993. Please request the relevant SDS when placing your order or contact us directly and we will provide the documentation you need.
